Sometimes — while oftentimes actually if we’re being honest — we design a piece for the purely selfish reason that we want to wear it ourselves ;) The I Dream in Flowers dress was definitely one of these pieces — created using a masterful floral oil painting from the early 1600’s by artist Jan Brueghel, and trimmed with an ink drawing of bumblebees found in a Victorian insect encyclopedia. It has the look and feel of a timeless, vintage piece that will never go out of style.
You can also wear this piece two ways, with the dragonfly on the front of the bodice, or the back — depending on your mood.
Please note: The nature of our soft bamboo/wood viscose means it’s slightly sheer, so we recommend wearing a full or half-slip with this style.
100% bamboo/wood viscose. Machine wash gentle or handwash, hang to dry.
